One night, the hustle and bustle of New York City—the rumbling of subways, whirring of cars, beeping of horns, screeching of brakes, and the chatter of voices—is interrupted by something unusual. A sound unfamiliar to even Tucker Mouse, who's seen it all in Times Square. But Mario Bellini, son of Mama and Papa Bellini, proprietors of the subway station newsstand, remembered where he'd heard it before: the melodious leg-rubbing of one lost Chester Cricket from Connecticut! Enticed by the smell of liverwurst, he jumped into some unknowing travelers' basket en route to the countryside. Alas, Chester found himself upended in a pile of dirt in the heart of Times Square.
