We are happy to provide further recommendations to the curious. If we do not have what you are looking for, we can start a wish list for you. We are happy to hunt down your desired texts.
Our primary focus is on the macabre, fantastic, and weird. However, we also provide preloved books from the adjacent realms of science fiction, mystery, true crime, and dark fantasy.

Behind this grand plan there's a hidden figure pulling the strings... so allow me to introduce myself!
My name is Veronica Vandersteenen. I was born and raised on the outskirts of Toronto, Ontario. For as long as I can remember, I've always loved the weird and supernatural.
As a kid I loved watching The Munsters, Addams Family, or Hilarious House of Frightenstein on daytime TV. As a teen our household would rent movies every Friday night, and our selection always included something scary or strange.
When not glued to the TV I was reading anything I could get my hands on. I loved the feeling of being afraid and unsettled, preferring stories and novels that instilled a lingering fear.
It is my hope that I can introduce horror and weird fiction to those for whom they're uncharted waters.
If you're willing, I ask for you to push your literary boundaries just a bit and give yourself a scare. Maybe you'll find that you, too, enjoy the thrill of adrenaline and blood pumping through your veins that quality horror can bring.

Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, aliens or something more deceptively mundane... it all applies! Through carefully selecting and curating these books on offer, I hope to help reveal the wide breadth of what falls under the category of "horror." There is much more horror and strange content to be found in literature, history, and art than is immediately apparent! I would also like to showcase the diversity among horror authors.
Personally, I aspire to contribute to the trailblazing efforts of other women in this industry in breaking down the stereotypes, generalizations, and norms of the horror community.

I revel in the eerie and the weird - from the beauty of cemetery landscapes, the enchantment of Halloween, the ambiance of rainy fall nights, to the flickering glow of lit candles illuminating dusty tomes.
There's something captivating to the idea of being afraid or unsettled. It can bring about uncertainty, which we often fear most.
Are you afraid of being afraid? Instead, try to look for comfort in the sound of crackling leaves, the soft whisper of the wind, or the light tread of ghosts lingering in the corridors.
